HOW TO SELECT SELECT CHANNELS USING GOtv REMOTE CONTROL
There are two quick and easy ways to select your favorite channel on the GOtv decoder using its remote control.
- DIRECT CHANNEL NUMBER PRESS SELECTION: The beauty of the GOtv channel numbers is that you can directly press the numbers on the number pad of your GOtv remote controls. This takes you right to the channel without any further stress. This is why it is important to know the GOtv channel numbers off-hand. I advise that you regularly read through the above list of channel numbers to memorize them, especially those few favorites. However, you may need to use another method if you are not sure of the channel’s number.
- CHANNEL GRID SCROLL AND SELECT: One can also open up the entire channel grid on GOtv, and scroll through to select any channel. You can do this with either the remote controls or the function buttons on the front panel of your decoder.
WITH REMOTE CONTROL
This is a direct method whereby you press the DOWN navigational button (among the 4-corner buttons) of the remote control. This opens to reveal the GOtv channels according to their numbered listings. Scroll up or down to run up or down respectively until the yellow highlight is upon the channel you seek. Then press OK to select it.
WITH DECODER FUNCTION BUTTONS
To open the GOtv channel grid, one may also use the function buttons on the front panel of the GOtv decoders. There is a specific button for VOL–UP, VOL-DOWN, CHANNEL-UP, CHANNEL-DOWN, etc. Press the channel-up buttons to reveal the channel grid listings. Scroll up or down using the VOL-UP or VOL-DOWN buttons until the yellow highlight line is upon the channel you seek. Press the OK button to select it.
