Set Opay SMS Alert
SMS ALERT on Opay – Opay is a popular mobile payment platform that enables users to send and receive money, pay bills, buy airtime, and perform other transactions using their mobile phones. One of the features of Opay is the SMS alert service, which notifies users of their transactions via text messages. In this article, we will guide you on how to set up SMS alerts on Opay.
Follow the simple steps below to setup Opay SMS alert on your phone
- Step 1: Open the Opay app The first step is to open the Opay app on your mobile phone. If you don’t have the app, you can download it from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
- Step 2: Login to your Opay account Once you have opened the app, login to your Opay account using your phone number and password.
- Step 3: Go to Settings After logging in, click on the ‘Settings’ icon located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Step 4: Click on Notification Settings In the settings page, scroll down and click on ‘Notification Settings’
- Step 5: Enable SMS Alerts In the Notification Settings page, you will see a toggle button for SMS Alerts. Turn it on by tapping on the button.
- Step 6: Verify your Phone Number After turning on the SMS Alerts, you will be prompted to verify your phone number. Follow the prompts to verify your phone number by entering the OTP (One-Time-Password) that will be sent to your phone number.
- Step 7: Save Changes After verifying your phone number, click on the ‘Save Changes’ button at the bottom of the page to save your settings.
Congratulations, you have successfully set up SMS Alerts on your Opay account. You will now receive SMS notifications for your Opay transactions.
Note that the SMS alert service is #3 per SMS, unlike normal commercial banks that charge #4 per SMS. Also, ensure that you have a stable network connection and sufficient balance to receive the SMS alerts.
