4. Fill out the agent application form with your business
details, such as business name, address, location, type of business, bank
account details, etc. You will also need to upload a photo of your business
location and a utility bill or rent receipt as proof of address.
5. Submit the application and wait for approval from
Opay. This may take up to 24 hours or more depending on the volume of
applications.
6. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation message
from Opay and your KYC level will change to Agent. You will also receive an
email with your agent ID and login details for the Opay agent portal.
7. Log in to the Opay agent portal with your agent ID and
password. Here you can view your dashboard, transaction history, commission
reports, wallet balance, etc.
8. To start performing transactions as an Opay agent, you
will need to fund your Opay wallet with cash. You can do this by depositing
cash at any Opay office or partner bank, or by transferring money from your
bank account to your Opay wallet using the app or USSD code *955#.
9. To withdraw cash from your Opay wallet, you can either
transfer it to your bank account using the app or USSD code *955#, or request
for a POS machine from Opay and use it to dispense cash to customers or
yourself.
10. To request for a POS machine from Opay, you will need
to have a minimum balance of N20,000 in your Opay wallet and a minimum monthly
transaction volume of N1 million. You will also need to pay a refundable
security deposit of N10,000 for the POS machine. You can request for a POS
machine by filling out a form on the Opay agent portal or by contacting the
Opay support team.
